Godric isn't my biggest fan, but he's invested in keeping her from causing trouble. I'll see what I can find out. If you find anyone else she's close with, let me know.
If he won't talk to me about it I have another idea. [he just has to figure out a way to go at it that isn't manipulative because he cares deeply for Archer and won't do that to him.
Why is it so complicated to care about people's feelings.
But speaking of manipulative angles:]
Has Nadja granted any requests of yours? Or have you had reason to ask?
The only thing I would ask for is my necromancy, and that's not happening now. Whatever protection it'd give me isn't worth whatever she might want out of it.
Right. ...We can hope you aren't permanently paired with her and the next warden will grant them. Perhaps I could ask for them back, too, after you're not her ward--I don't know if I'm allowed to now that I am paired but it couldn't hurt to try.
[He doesn't actually mean 'handy'. She says 'legends' which implies she hasn't tried it. Anita is not the sort of person who runs around controlling people, and that's one reason he likes her.]
I'm curious what Dracula has to say now. If there's some sort of pattern to necromancers across the worlds, like there are other similarities.

Re: [Voice] [private]
I could talk to Dracula, see if he knows her.
[Voice] [private]
You're friendly with him?

Re: [Voice] [private]
We talk occasionally. He doesn't seem to hate me.
Re: [Voice] [private]
You think he'll help us figure out Nadja's fascination with necromancers?
Re: [Voice] [private]
I don't know. But I can ask.
Re: [Voice] [private]
Let me know. I'll keep you informed on Godric, too, but...I don't know how much he'll tell me.
Unrelated: have you spoken to him at all since your first day?
Re: [Voice] [private]
Just the once.
[When they talked in her barren kitchen.]
I think we're avoiding each other.

I really thought it would scare her, or I wouldn't have brought it up.

Re: [Voice] [private]
Legends say necromancers can control all undead.
Re: [Voice] [private]
Well that's handy. If it's true.

Re: [Voice] [private]
He already knows. He found it interesting, but he's not gushing about it.
Re: [Voice] [private]
I suppose if he isn't threatened by it that's something. Then again, he doesn't seem the type to be threatened by much.
Re: [Voice] [private]
No, he really isn't.
[She knows some things about Vlad, that are his private business. She's much better at not sharing other people's secrets than her own.
That probably says a lot about her.]
I guess you don't get to be a bona fide legend if you get spooked easy.

She stops him several times, and makes him repeat himself. "What's an icon? I don't see anything like that. Nothing is happening."
She is so bad with technology. It's torturous to give her tech instructions over the phone.]
