There's a twitch of an eyebrow that on anyone else would be a chuckle.

"I do maintain the dining hall, though, so if there's anything you need in that regard, Lark-san, please let me know."

He glances at Pagan, and there's another of those not!smiles over at him.

"But if you ever wish to try again, you can use my kitchen."

"You didn't want me near the knives and I didn't want to wash dishes," he points out to Lark. "Hardly the same. But I know my strengths, boys. And they are not kitchen-based."

Try again? Bah! The first time was annoying enough.
