[Getting on board was a moment of chaos. He remembers turning a corner, expecting to find fur and blood in his mouth, expecting maybe to get torn up in return, expecting maybe a bullet from above to take him down, too-

But instead he's somewhere metal, somewhere that smells of strangers and strangeness, and he's bleeding a trail but he runs for safety anyway. If there is any. If there are doors, anywhere, that he can open without changing back, because this has to be the FBI's work and so long as they think he's just a wolf, maybe they won't slit him open and poke around inside.]



[ooc: Lark is a wolf, for now. He'll have to change back sooner or later even if he doesn't want to, so feel free to tag him as human or wolf, just lemme know which.]

[He gives a slight gasp of pain, eyes watering a little, but Chris doesn't seem to mind too much; his own arms are wrapped tightly around the Pack Leader]

The fuck do you mean? I've been here! Where else would I be?

Just now. We were in a war, and Chris, I almost had the son of a bitch.

Where is everyone?

[mistconduct]

[He lets go but only reluctantly, sliding away from Lark to drop down on the bed again, looking up at the man adoringly]

Uhm, you mean Jesse and Arya? Graduated. They're off running their new lives. Jesse has a son, he's so fucking cute you wouldn't believe. They show up every time the comms glitch.

[Lark is grinning so much it hurts]

Good. His son's a lucky baby. How old?

[And, because this means a lot of uncertainty for him in the moment:] Is Arya all right? Does she ever come by?

[mistconduct]

I dunno, two? Gotta be two by now. Every time I see him the time's different. He could be older by now. His name's Mikey.

Arya's good. I mean, she graduated and skipped town, but we don't really talk much. Last time I talked to Jesse was a year ago.

[ukan]

Looks like it's just us then, huh? [He gives him a pointed look: Your turn.] Fill me in.

[mistconduct]

[He grins, sitting back on the bed]

Not really a lot to say. I graduated, I mean. And I went home, and lost my legs, which, not cool. But I got a pair of all-new metal legs.

Cassel and me are still together. Had a first inmate, Slevin, and he graduated and I got my deal. Had a second inmate, lost him to whatever fucked-up magic the Barge is under. Now I'm just chilling with my third. Motherfucking Victor Creed if you believe that. It's why I smell so bad.

[ukan]

[He laughs]

Please. You always smelled bad.

How is Cassel? I can't believe your relationship has lasted longer than all of mine put together.

[mistconduct]

Wow. Wow. I take serious offense to that statement.


He's good. Or he would be, if my fucking inmate would leave him the hell alone.

[ukan]

[He looks at Chris, doesn't ask if he's 'okay' because, come on now. It's Victor Creed, if he's not leaving someone alone then it's pretty bad.]

Does Victor still have his powers?

[mistconduct]

Not after he fucked with Cassel. I killed them for him.

[ukan]

Good. Did he settle his fuzzy ass down or is he just building a grudge now?

[mistconduct]

Sort of. He's been all sullen and grouchy but he knows if he starts shit it'll go for longer.

[ukan]

Wasn't he a little more domesticated last time? Or did I just ignore his rampages?

[mistconduct]

I don't know. Maybe he was being held by someone with more clout than me.

[ukan]

I think it was Iris. So whatever she did, go ahead and try. You might need tools.

[mistconduct]

I'm not sleeping with Creed.

[ukan]

[Deadpan] Way to take one for the team.

[mistconduct]

Don't be gross. He's three times my size and he stinks.

I can't imagine what he smells like to you. He's like a mix of bear and...zoo, to me.

[mistconduct]

Like an inbred zoo? So not surprised.
